I made a new site because there’s a lot of information warfare going on and I wasn’t aware of any place to find content from *only* FCC-licensed television stations.

So presenting Local News TV – browse 660 US television stations by state and metro area and view recent broadcast content via YouTube.

Super simple to use: pick a state from the dropdown menu, choose a metro area, and click “Tune In.” The site will fetch the YouTube RSS feeds for stations in that area and present their content. Click on the thumbnail or the item headline to go to video’s YouTube page, or click “Watch This” to expand the item to include embedded video content.

The “News Filters” buttons will filter the feed items by topical keyword sets. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can add custom keywords.

Local News is important and it should be easy to find! I hope you find Local News TV useful.
